Hi! Thanks for visiting my website - please explore!
My wife, Amy, and I have been married since 2010. We technically had a "destination wedding," but it was in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania (PA). Given that I am from Long Island, NY and Amy is from Kingston, PA, it was not that much of a "destination" in the way the word is typically used for weddings. Regardless, the town of Jim Thorpe is awesome and we spent three years (yes, three years) learning a choreographed ballroom dance set to "This Must Be The Place" by the Talking Heads. Neither of us can remember the full dance, but we can both Foxtrot like champs (at least in our heads).
Amy and I have three kids, Mae (who would be 11), Ward (10) and Rosie (7). We all enjoy different things, of course, but together we like to cook, garden, fish, and play video games (old-school Nintendo, that is!). For my part in the gardening, I built a bunch of raised beds and we plant all kinds of herbs, leafy greens, hot peppers (my favorite), corn, carrots, garlic, onions, and so on. Oh, and we have a pet rabbit named Carl - he loves to munch on some of the leafy greens and crimson clover! We also now have a new rescue dog named Abe, and we have no idea what breed(s) he is!
In my "free" time I love to read, fish with my kids, go "creek-stomping," bike and walk on trails, and get beat up a bunch via Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Some of my favorite books are The Theory of Everything by Stephen Hawking, And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, Shark Trouble by Peter Benchley, and really anything written by Ray Bradbury or Cormac McCarthy. I also enjoy reading books about writing style. I suppose it goes without saying but, yes, I also love books about economics, sustainability, and human rights. I also love horror and comedy movies, and most movies from the 80s.
